Geneva National’s Simulator Studio is located alongside the resort Pro Shop on the lower level of the Clubhouse. Featuring the latest TrackMan 4 Launch Monitor with tour-proven technology, our year-round practice studio will keep your game sharp, regardless of the weather. Open to the public.

Downtown Shopping

If you love to shop on vacation, you’ve come to the right place. A bevy of one-of-a-kind boutiques line Lake Geneva’s charming resort downtown while the outskirts offer antiquing and other worth-the-hunt artsy outlets. Just off the main strip on Broad Street, Horticultural Hall is home to a sweet farmers’ market every Thursday morning (May-October), so you can stock up on locally handcrafted soaps, jams, cheeses, and honeys.

Wine Bars & Tasting Rooms

From Barrique Wine Bar on the lake and the downtown Bottle Shop to Studio Winery‘s combo tasting room, recording studio and art gallery, Lake Geneva pops the corks! Homegrown wineries like Staller Estates and the Apple Barn take you out to the farm for bottled fruit of the vine. Or, opt to stay close by and enjoy the Wine Spectator award-winning cellars at Geneva National’s Hunt Club Steakhouse and The Ridge Hotel’s Crafted Italia.

Lake Geneva Ziplines & Adventures

Just 5.5 miles from Geneva National, Lake Geneva Ziplines & Adventures (LGZA) provides year-round, sky-high adventure some 32 feet above ground in 100 acres of forest canopy. The zip-lining eco tour features eight lines, five sky bridges, four stairways and a grand finale dual-racing zip line while the high ropes course offers 16 obstacles to conquer. Tristan Crist Magic Show

Revel in an hour of live magic, comedy and illusion at the family-friendly Tristan Crist Magic Theatre in downtown Lake Geneva. See Mr. Crist walk through a mirror … and make a motorcycle appear!

Lake Geneva School of Cooking

Choose between one of the scheduled daily hands-on classes or book a private event at the school, located in a charming historic parsonage downtown. Dancing Horses Theatre

Just two miles from Geneva National, the Dancing Horses Theatre features a year-round enchanting equestrian performance plus a seasonal exotic bird show, baby animal farm, wildlife exhibit, and deer park, where you can feed and pet whitetail deer. Live Music

The Ridge Hotel features live weekend music at the Deck Bar in the summer and indoors at the Biergarten in the winter months. Seasonally, enjoy the charming Belfry Music Theatre‘s cover bands or summer outdoor performances at George Williams College’s Music by the Lake, or East Troy’s Alpine Valley Music Theatre.

Area Hiking & Winter Cross Country Trails

Lace up your boots and hit the 3.5 miles of upland, lowland and grassland trails at Geneva National, or drive just a couple miles to Kishwauketoe Nature Conservancy, a 4.5-mile loop trail traversing wetlands by a boardwalk and featuring a grassland lookout tower. A little further away, you can pick up Lake Geneva’s Big Foot Beach State Park or Kettle Moraine‘s southern trails, both of which allow cross-country skiing in the winter.

Let the good times roll at Walworth’s quaint Ten Pin Pub, the larger Lake Geneva Lanes with family fun center, or Delavan Lanes — or reserve a plush seat at the new Emagine Theatre just outside of downtown.

Area Beaches

Just two miles from Geneva National, the charming Williams Bay Beach offers restrooms, swimming piers, and lots of sand for castle building and relaxing.  Two other lovely public beaches are found on the west end in Fontana and at the downtown Riviera Beach , the largest of the three, in Lake Geneva.

Embark on an exquisite lake cruise and experience Lake Geneva from a wonderful, watery perspective. Watercraft Rentals: Power Boats, SUPs, and Kayaks

The Ridge Hotel Marina rents stand-up paddleboards (SUPs), kayaks and pontoon boats for use on Lake Como. Downtown Lake Geneva’s Clearwater Outdoor rent SUPs and kayaks for use on Geneva Lake. For powerboats and wave runners, visit Fontana’s Gordy’s Marine or Jerry’s Majestic Marine,  Williams Bay’s Gage Marine, or downtown Lake Geneva’s Marina Bay.

Geneva Lake Shore Path

The three-foot-wide public path winds around the entire lakeshore for 21 miles, allowing unprecedented views of the area’s famed historic buildings, gardens and charming cottages. Each property maintains its portion of this public-access path, so the terrain varies from stepping stones and dirt paths to wooden stairs and rustic bridges. Download VISIT Lake Geneva’s convenient and complimentary Lake Shore Path app for an online tour. Note: Bicycles & strollers are not allowed on the path, and dogs must be leashed.

Lake Geneva Scooter Tours & Rentals

If you can ride a bike, you can ride a scooter – and start living life in the quasi fast lane. Scoot Jockeys scooters are fully automatic, lightweight, and require only a driver’s (not a motorcycle) license. Scoot Jockeys provides helmets, training and maps of their favorite rides over beautiful hills, rustic roads and lakeside routes.  If you’d rather, sign up for a guided scooter tour and just enjoy the ride. Reservations are highly recommended.

Lake Geneva Balloon Company

Uniquely experience break-taking, birds-eye views of Geneva Lake and the surrounding Wisconsin terrain as you rise silently and serenely up to the clouds in a hot air balloon. Safari Lake Geneva

Climb aboard one of Safari Lake Geneva’s customized safari wagons for a guided tour of rolling savanna featuring animals from around the world. Many animals will approach the vehicles where you may feed them for an up-close experience. Each tour lasts about an hour, and guests are free to walk amongst some of our smaller animal inhabitants before or after the tour.

Helen Rohner Children’s Fishing Park

Located just two miles from Geneva National at Williams Bay’s Kishwauketoe Nature Conservancy, this new Children’s Fishing Park features two fishing areas along a trout stream, a natural playground, worm garden, and classes and story times.

East Troy Electric Railroad & Museum

All aboard East Troy’s historic rail cars for a 10-mile trip through beautiful Southeast Wisconsin. Board at the depot in East Troy or at The Elegant Farmer in Mukwonago. In the museum, kids can be a trolley motorman, discover model layouts and learn about electricity. Specialty rides include the Easter Bunny Train, Christmas Train, and Cheesemakers and Beer Tasting Trains, Don’t forget to stop next door at J. Lauber’s Ice Cream Parlor, an authentic 1920’s soda fountain.

Ski Wisconsin

Just minutes away, Vail Resorts’ Wilmot Mountain and Alpine Valley together boast nearly 50 runs, multiple terrain parks, professional instruction and equipment rentals – fun for everyone from beginners to shredders! Looking for something more laid back? Wilmot also offers 22 lanes for tubing and a magic carpet to pull you and your tube back uphill!

Ice Castles

Built with thousands of lit-up icicles, the interactive Ice Castles display is projected to open at Geneva National in early January 2021.  Featuring tricked-out tunnels, thrones, slides, and fountains, this over-the-top Instagrammable ice kingdom will be yours to discover through early March.
